AGM 2008 News Update

Following the 2008 AGM, the members voted that all Committee positions would stay the same for another 2 years. In addition, the Treasurer presented the annual accounts to the meeting.

Two Year Anniversary

A note from the Chairman

Since the club's official formation in October 2005 we have arranged 2 Summer BBQ's, 3 Quizs in the North Down, 1 Poker Night, 2 Christmas dinners in the TT and 1 Burns Night. In addition, we had an enjoyable season of 5 aside football in 2006.

As far as trips to games are concerned, we have arranged 7 Trips to Windsor Park international matches. We have run buses to and from the games and the TNC joined us on these boozy occassions. For the record, the stats are, played 7, won 5, drawn 1 and lost 1, which is not a bad record. In addition we had our first official away trip, which was to Zurich for the Leichinstein game in March this year when 15 of us travelled for the 4-1 win.

Aside from the above we raised a large sum of money for a charity and this is to be handed over before the end of the year to the alloted cause, further details will be on the website nearer the time.

Now two years on, the club is going from strength to strength, we have just over 40 members. We have established effective links at the IFA and with other Supporters clubs.

I would like to thank the committee for all their help over these two years and for the club members who have helped make this club a success.
